Tae Kwon Do Programs
For centuries, millions of people have benefited from the teachings of Martial Arts, a system of self-defense created in the Orient that does not advocate the use of weapons. Instead, a philosophy that believes in strengthening the body, knowledge in the mind and Honesty in the Heard though self- discipline fitness and awareness. At Tae Kwon Do Unlimited, we teach the fundamentals of the Martial Arts by combining the time tested Eastern philosophy of Martial Arts with the modern approach of Western teaching strategies. We offer a well- balanced program for adults and children that emphasizes pride, self esteem, fitness and integrity.
Martial Arts is good, clean fun for kids...and a great way to give kids a head start on life. At our school, they’ll learn the positive benefits of self-discipline and confidence,
develop strength and flexibility.
Because a structure of respect is built into Martial Arts, children develop the ability to listen, learn, and achieve within a highly regulated environment. This proves to be an excellent reinforcement of study techniques for school.
It’s not all Serious Just ask the kids. We regularly have social functions, pizza parties, sleepovers and movie nights. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of success and accomplishment, making sure all kids feel great about themselves as they make their journey towards black belt. We make learning challenging as well as enjoyable. Not only do our students learn the most, they have the most fun too!

Nugget of Knowledge:
Bowing
This is done when entering the studio and stepping on and off the mat.
To begin, the bow is an exchange of courtesy, just like when you meet someone for the first time you
shake their hand. It is a sign of greeting, friendship, respect, self-control & self-discipline. Our
martial art's bow is also a promise—a promise to be careful and considerate. We promise not
to hurt one another. This way we can ensure that our training will be safe. The bow is also a
reminder to always to do your best-not just here at the studio, but at home, school/work,
and everywhere you go.
