Remember to recive your $5.00 discount, you must pre-register with your membership # on the registration and show your card at the event when picking up your registration. If you register at the door you must have your card with you.
In 2007 AZMARRS held a very successful Year-End Grand Champion event. This event was for those members who were rated top in their division. It is planned again for 2008, in a large facility. So remember to make your tournaments and watch your points add up.
Rules:
Age of the competitor:
A competitor's age is determined by the age they are between January 1, 2008 and July 1, 2008. Example: The competitor is 15 and will be 16 March 1st. That competitor may compete in the 14-15 division until March 1st. Then the competitor must move up to the 16-17 division or the competitor may start the 
year in the 16-17 division. If the competitor's age was 16 on July 1st or later he/she may stay in the 14-15 division for the year or move up. The competitor's choice! Remember, that once the competitor changes divisons they can't change back.
Belt Rank:
A competitor's belt rank is the highest rank they hold the day of the event. If a competitor once held a brown belt in one style and is now a white belt in another, they must compete in the brown belt division. If a competitor has been promoted to a higher belt, they must now compete as that belt.
Points:
If you change divisions, you must write AZMARRS office to have your points change with you. Half of your points will be moved to the next division. AZMARRS will not move points for you.
